I kept my dream alive and that’s the reason I’m here in front of you. I am Arjay Millena, currently a graduating student of Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation, Inc. and an SEO Junior Team Lead. One of the reasons that helped me reach my goal was the trainings I got to attend to at SLTCFI. Among these is the Copy Writing training.

What is copy writing? Well, that was actually the first question that came into my mind when I was requested by the school to attend the said training. I was hesitant at first because I have no idea what it was. I just thought of the certificate I could get if I attended it. Because that certificate would be an addition to my credentials once I graduate and start looking for jobs. And one more, it was free.

Copy writing is simply writing in a more creative manner in order to capture the interests of readers online. As the training went, I started to enjoy it for I know a bit of writing too. I was very thankful for the opportunity because I know I can use the things I learned as tools when I finish school.

And yes, the Copy Writing training helped me a lot in becoming a better Search Engine Optimizer or SEO. How? As an SEO, you have to be flexible and to be able to write creatively is already an edge because the work deals with the web. And when it comes to the web, “Content is King.” It was worth it because it has significantly helped improve my writing skills and be more productive when it comes to work.

Let me share my thanks to the people behind the Copy Writing training and the other trainings I’ve attended, Mr. Elizaldy Co and the Sunwest Group of Company through TESDA thank you very much sir. I really appreciate your effort in giving those scholarships because without those, I wouldn’t be able to achieve what I have achieved now and that is to be one of the pioneer members of the SEO Team here in Legazpi City. Maybe without your support I will not have those opportunities that really help me. I hope that you continue to support, develop and mold us, students, to become future professionals.

Arjay Millena was one of Bicol’s first trainees on Online Web Marketing and was given the opportunity to be part of the First SEO Team in Albay. And is being employed to be an SEO support team member and recently promoted to be an SEO Junior Team Leader on a US Company while studying.
